@lroal I'm using Dreamhost for my small websites. It has some issues from time to time though. I have good experience with OVH.

@_tractorgirl_ i can understand that. i hadn't really heard of them before. i use digital pacific in oz and dreamhost in usa.

@cgorshing I do all my registration with @dreamhost. $10/year + free privacy. They host my sites too. Very happy. Would like Java though ;)

@cebarker u probably got a lot of good advice already but I'd recommend DreamHost. g8 service plus cheap hosting plans if you want that too.
