You can use Site5 or Google Domains to host your own site and buy your own domain name, which you can link to WordPress to build a blog

@site5 used to be awesome. They've dropped phone support. Chat support is now nothing but canned responses. New site unusable for 4 days. :(

I really wish you could just work with *one* person on a support ticket. Edward @Site5 has actually been helpful. Everyone else is sales.

I swear I'm not being paid for this, but if you're unhappy with your web host, I have used @site5 for years and they've always been great.
