I figured it out. Download "publishing profile" and use FTP name/pwd buried in XML string. #windowsazure Yeah, of course! Obvious.

Amazing how easy it is to move a local @SQLServer db to @WindowsAzure! Basically it's right-click and move. #anglebrackets

@WindowsAzure would really like to see cuts in the Azure backup tier. For large data, hard to justify the high costs vs. other solutions.
