I received a call back from @WindowsAzure support in about 10 minutes - quite good! Subscription is back to active and services running.

@shugorick Amazing how much progress @WindowsAzure has made. Spinning up a fully licensed Win2K8 Server VM in 5 minutes w/ a great console
