@shayfrendt well it seems to working (can curl and got email about UP), but got that error msg when doing 'heroku ranger'

ok so heroku toolbelt comes with it's own retarded version of ruby. Heroku db:pull requires taps. how the **** can gems be installed...

so it seems @heroku sucks for high-traffic dynamic content apps unless you've got a squillion to spend on dynos, even with caching in place
