If you want a "serverless" platform, go with Heroku or Google App Engine. AWS Lambda is not it. OK for scripting, terrible for actual apps.

@kylesethgray I don’t use heroku but my understanding was they cycle if they throw exceptions or other kinds of other reasons

@heroku your command-line util fails extremely un-gracefully. JSON parse error instead of "sorry, we're down"
