OK I'm starting to love Heroku. I just migrated to a new stack and moved the db there via 3 shell commands. Awesome!

@syrupskriss I used Heroku.com briefly in my last job as a temp server for development. However I couldn't get anything working on it.

For anything but small scale Heroku seems highly unappealing, both performance and price wise. EC2 FTW.

@sbrosinski thanks, @webfaction looks awesome for webhosting. i only need domainhosting - blog runs on @heroku . but i keep that in mind.
