@AbsoluteWrite For virtual private servers, use linode. Godaddy sucks for so many things.

I think I'm going to move my crap back to my home server from linode. I don't think I'm getting what I hoped to out of the linode server.

after a whole day I was finally able to deploy my fucking rails app with capistrano to linode!! It took me three linode rebuild :)
