Seems that 1and1's so-called Webhosting Pro service is not fit for purpose, as it apparently can't reliably serve large files...#fail

As usual 1and1 support is about as much use as a chocolate teapot. Thank <Insert Deity of Choice> that I run my own backup server too! #fail
