@imilnb remember grub legacy can boot a netbsd kernel I used that to boot Netbsd on my #hetzner #vps provider

@gremoire Also Hetzner local is meant to be pretty good.. but I had issues with Hetzner Germany so ruled that out for me

Unpacking a 12 GB tar.gz on a Contabo VM: 155 seconds, on a VM on a dedicated root server at Hetzner: 75 minutes - find the problem

@spanktar the Hetzner box is our own server running only two dev VM with almost no load, horrible IO throughput…moving away…
