@TheAnkePanke afrihost is fine for normal stuff, cheap and easy. Otherwise try Hetzner

I have to tether onto AT&T network just to access my servers (code,mail) on hetzner since the route between them and Cox is screwed up

Seems to be some general issues with the internet today. Hetzner CPT datacenter is also having issues. Some banking sites not loading.
