@robynhobson I think you should try Hetzner. A much better option, they keep daily backups unlike afrihost.

@ujh Pretty satisfied with Hetzner so far. Not sure about virtual servers, but their root servers are pretty neat.

If you need a dedicated server, now is a good time to get it. Hetzner has no setup fees on "root servers" this month.

@codedivine my hosting is at Hetzner. Supercheap and good quality. Also outside USA, so safer-by-law.

@ChrisSinjo @Jack_Franklin As cheap as Hetzner (server bidding) is; I have never had any problem with the two boxes I've had with them.
